Our Story

Havre & Heart began with a simple desire—a stay at home mom searching for low tox products safe for her babies. What started as a personal hobby, crafting homemade tallow in her kitchen, quickly became something she wanted to share with others who valued the same clean, intentional approach to wellness.

That passion evolved into a side hustle, a way to pursue her bigger dreams while staying present for her family. Today, Havre & Heart exists for a purpose beyond products. Every purchase directly funds her mission to rescue horses—animals that have been abused, neglected, retired from work, or pulled from the kill pen. These horses deserve a second chance, and your support makes their rescue and care possible.

Through equine-assisted therapy, our plan is to use rehabilitated horses to serve as partners in healing — helping individuals overcome trauma, anxiety, grief, and emotional hardship, and transforming their own journeys of recovery into a gift they share with the community. It is our belief that in saving a horse, we create the possibility of saving a person — and that both are equally worth the effort."
